We are busy cleaning out every closet in our home (spring cleaning has come early). In the middle of countless trips to Goodwill and in honor of the new year, I've finished a project that I've been working on here and there for almost a year. I'm actually not sure if it's finished, but I'm going to share it with you anyway.
One of my daughters used to make me sing "Mary Had a Little Lamb" over and over. I showed you my start to a little song book for her. Well, I've lost all hope of ever completing that project. Sometimes you just have to be honest with yourself and let it go. But as a result, this one started.
I added all sorts of hand quilting and then ripped it out because it was just too much. I do like it though, so for now, I'm calling it quits and it's a sweet wall hanging in my daughter's room.
Here's wishing you a good start to the new year!
